Conversion from BCS-462 to Brucontrol, you have to do it!

I installed a BCS-462 on my 50 amp HERMS system and I was never really happy with it. In fact I never did a brew with the BCS due to that I found it very clunky to edit and run and it did not handle automation well. Then I saw Brudogs Brucontrol and got really excited as I have no programming...

    Diy conical idea

It sounds simple but in fact the process will be slow going and the fit has to be bang on. Be careful of you materials, make sure that the funnel is 304 or 316 stainless, any thing else and you will have issues. It will need to be sanitary which means you will have to purge with Argon to stop...

BruControl: Brewery control & automation software

Hey Brundog, I just finished my BCS 462 panel and stumbled upon this. Would switching to your Brucontrol set up be as easy as using the same wiring and just hooking up all of the inputs, outputs and temp probes? If it is I will be purchasing one ASAP! Cheers, Todd

    How would you fix this?

I am not to worried about the outside, it is the inner plate where the stainless plate seal against that is a problem. There is quite a bit of aluminum missing and I don't this the plates will seal unless I fix it. It is from my families dairy farm, it has only seen milk but it has been sitting...

    How would you fix this?

Hello all, I have happened upon this plate chiller and it is in need of some repair. The fittings caused a galvanic reaction and corroded the front plate. I thought about building it up with a tig weld then machine it all but that is a huge amount of work. Has any one used aluminum epoxies...

BrunDog 50A eRig - no HLT for me!

I tried using a calculator from the bcs website but after I enter the last temp the graph wipes out. Then I saw that there are 4 different values of resistance in the 10K range so now I am confused
