I've got three of the chrome plated perlicks and they're working great. I just ordered a fourth to add another keg to my keezer. I've only had them for a couple months so can't speak to their longevity myself, but it seems lots of bars use chrome faucets so I figure they should last quite a while.

How about a sippy-cup pint glass and a couple of lessons from dad on the proper way to pour from the tap? :D

Was the bottle cold? That can make a big difference in keeping the gas in solution. If it was room temperature, chill one down and see if it helps.

Ball locks are skinnier. In my freezer I can fit four ball locks but could only fit three pin locks. That's the only reason I went with ball locks.

I haven't noticed anything odd about a reboot so far ... I told my girlfriend that you could play games on the newer versions and I believe we'll be updating one of our existing boxes so she can play Angry Birds on the TV. She's an addict.

I've got two of them that I use pretty much only for Netflix. But I do also watch BrewingTV from Northern Brewer via a Vimeo app on there. I have found that the one in my living room wired to the router works flawlessly while the one in my basement via wi-fi does have a hiccup once in a while.

Mine are off-center (to the left side) becuase the compressor hump on my freezer is on the right side. I didn't want to risk the tap shanks bumping into the kegs sitting on top of the hump. But that's just me ...
