    Value of AHA membership

Go to your favorite watering holes and speak with the manager and explain to them the benefits of being a member and point them to the AHA. Most restaurants just don't know about the program. It's of benefit to you as you'll be getting the discounts.

    Cans on Plane?

Not sure about cans but I travel with bottles of beer all the time in my luggage. Whenever I travel I always pick up a few local bottles to bring home. Just wrap 'em up good so they don't break. If bottles don't break I don't see why can would.

Is your LHBS taking advantage of the Shortage?

I've noticed hop prices are ridiculous at most homebrew stores but haven't noticed much change in malt prices. And at $3-$4/lb. he's totally screwin people. At my LHBS I'd say the average $/lb is about $1.35 to $1.50. Mention something to 'em and ask 'em why they're charging more than double...

    HOLY S.... (graphic photo)

As a biker myself my biggest fear is a f*$king moron in a car. A good friend of mine got hit a couple weeks ago on the road. It was a real wake up call for our bike club. Fortunately she walked away. Scary stuff to think about.

    Stupid birds

I remember being at an office building once that had huge glass windows and I looked up to see a perfect bird imprint. Wings spread and all. Then I looked at the ground and saw the birdy. I laughed quite hard. :D

    Ouch Electric bill

I rarely see a heating/cooling bill over $100, usuallly $70-$80. Live in a townhome so I'm insulated on 3 walls with south facing windows which is really nice in the winter time.
