Go to your favorite watering holes and speak with the manager and explain to them the benefits of being a member and point them to the AHA. Most restaurants just don't know about the program. It's of benefit to you as you'll be getting the discounts.
Not sure about cans but I travel with bottles of beer all the time in my luggage. Whenever I travel I always pick up a few local bottles to bring home. Just wrap 'em up good so they don't break. If bottles don't break I don't see why can would.

I've been debating on what to use for tap handles for awhile now. These are perfect. Placed an order for 2 of the 6" handles just a few minutes ago so I should have them by Friday or Monday. Review to come.

I remember being at an office building once that had huge glass windows and I looked up to see a perfect bird imprint. Wings spread and all. Then I looked at the ground and saw the birdy. I laughed quite hard. :D
I rarely see a heating/cooling bill over $100, usuallly $70-$80. Live in a townhome so I'm insulated on 3 walls with south facing windows which is really nice in the winter time.
