"Is there anybody out there?" -thats sold homebrew

I live in the great state of washington and the other night at dinner I ordered a boundry bay ipa brewed in bellingham for $4.50. After tasting it I said to my wife that my ipa is better, fresher with more aroma and better flavor. So she says if your beer is better and all of our friends say how...

    240 volt outlet quote

I have expierience with this type of work and can tell you off the bat that you can start with material costs. The plugs are around $10.00 a piece plus boxes so figure $30.00, plus wire which 10/2 or 3 if you need a neutral is not cheap about $80.00 for a 250 foot roll. Then there are the...

Historical Beer: Roggenbier Rabbit Run Rye Ale

I just brewed your recipe last weekend and man! The sparging process was like the hundred year war....long as hell and tuff. This has to do with two things I believe, 1. My chessy plastic false bottom on my igloo and the ****ty plastic valve that goes with it. And 2. The rye??? I question it...

The ebay link is the one. They have them on there pretty often and must sell them fast. Is the only benefit to pressurizing it is to transfer under co2 to my kegs? Everything synergy seems to fab looks of the highest quality and aound 500 for a 12.5 gallon seems fair. shhhh....the wife can't...

    conical fermenter

Hey was wondering if anyone out there has a SYNERGY METALWORKS conical. They claim superb craftsmanship but fail to mention if it is pressurible like the blichmanns. Do I even need it to be pressurable?

    no more carboys or fermenters.....???

I love the idea but was wondering... A sanke is a standard 15.5 gal keg right? just like the ones I use to do "kegstands" off of in high school? But the advantage is I only need one fermenter right? Still have to transfer to keg though right? The HBT guys are great quick responses . Thanks. Also...

    no more carboys or fermenters.....???

I was thinking about how to streamline my brew process one day while enjoying a brew and here is my question to all the brewing senseis. Why not skip the primary and carboy? Here is what I do. I will transfer my wort directly into my corny keg , will keep the lid on but put the co2 fitting hose...

Just brewed your centennial blonde for the first time with my all-grain setup! It was a great experience with the OG coming out @ 1040 . The color looked real good too. My buddy was brewing what he called a real beer( b/c of the 4%) but I'm sure he'll have to eat/drink his words when this bad...
