    Hop soda?

Drinking from the can I liked it but out of the glass I couldn't taste hops at all. I don't know if maybe one can was older or something. Anyway though I bought some hopshot and I'm going to make a ginger ale and add the hopshot into the warm water while dissolving my sugar. Probably about five...

Wild grapes, what should I make?

Thanks, that helps a lot! Looks like I can probably make five gallons after all then. Very much appreciated!

Wild grapes, what should I make?

I have a mesh bag, should I squeeze juice through it and throw the pulp out and then add a Camden tablet to juice and then nutrients and energizer next day?

Wild grapes, what should I make?

There are 30 pounds and I have found online that on average 100 pounds is needed to make five gallons. I am expecting about two gallons or so.

Wild grapes, what should I make?

I have never made grape wine but I recently discovered my parents have a lot of wild grapes, my parents bought the place from a relative and where told they are concord grapes so maybe they are not wild and were planted awhile ago, they have grown up some trees though and there are quite a few...

    Skeeter Pee

My skeeter pee as per the original recipe is about ten percent and it likes to sneak up and kick my ass. I would think a 14% yeast would be fine.

    Ginger Ale (kegged)

Newest batch I made with a splenda brown sugar mix. It was a lot sweeter than I expected but good though. I want to bottle next time, I used to make it in two liter bottles with bread yeast but I'm not sure with a five gallon batch how much yeast and how long to let it condition before I...

    Ginger Ale (kegged)

    It was just right.

    Northern Brewer Hopshot

Could be, it is suppose to be a clone of bells two hearted ale though and that beer is 55ibu so I'm thinking that's right.

    Northern Brewer Hopshot

Part off the reason I decided to do that is because northern brewer says deadringer is 29ibu and two hearted ale is 55. When I put the recipe into my recipe creator app to save it, it estimated it at 55.9ibu though so apparently the 29ibu is a typo. I'm worried this will be to much now. About...

    Northern Brewer Hopshot

I didn't want to completely replace the bittering hops, I bought the kit so I might as well use everything that comes with it. I just wasn't sure if I wanted to add the bittering hops to one of the other hop editions or maybe add them to the dry hops. I ended up leaving them where they where...

    Skeeter Pee

My skeeter pee had one pound of BlackBerrys in primary and I'm planning on backsweeten with the frozen strawberry concentrates. I picked up four. My wife wants a sweet dessert type strawberry wine so that's what I'm going for.

    skeeter pee kombucha experiment

I may pick up an ale yeast for this one though.

    skeeter pee kombucha experiment

I just brewed up a five gallon batch of a bells two hearted ale clone and kept about a third of a gallon of wort out to give room in my five gallon carboy. I decided to mix the extra with an equal part kombucha same as I did with the skeeter pee. I'm hoping for the best.

    skeeter pee kombucha experiment

I recently brewed a small batch experiment that turned out great and I thought I would share. I made a batch of skeeter pee a couple weekend ago and had a little to much for my carboy so in a gallon jar like I use for kombucha I mixed 2 parts skeeter pee must with one part kombucha. I didn't add...

    Pumpkin wine

I add pumpkin puree to my Apple wine, it don't taste like pumpkin but it does improve the flavor and it seems to make it much clearer for some reason. I don't use anything to try to clear it up.

    Skeeter Pee

I didn't leave enough room in my carboy to add the third bottle of lemon juice, I put the last of the nutrients and energize in and about a third of the bottle of lemon juice but had no room to shake it up. I'm planning to rack to secondary in a couple days and add the rest of the lemon juice...

    Hopshot

Anyone use this for flavor yet? I bought a few to experiment with and I want to use one for a non beer, I was thinking of maybe using it to bitter a hard cider by boiling it in the sugar syrup I make to add to cider and bump the abv, our maybe making a hop soda and adding it for flavor. Either a...

    Northern Brewer Hopshot

I just bought some hopshot to experiment with. I also picked up a couple dead ringer (bells two hearted clone) kits. I have a clone recipe for hop stoopid I was going to brew but I am thinking about adding it to one of the dead ringer kits instead I'm just not sure if I should keep the rest of...
