    Unlimited apples, but no press or juicer :(

    Seen this thing on ebay where its a long metal rod with blades on the end... It hooks up to a drill and goes in a bucket to grind up the apples.... It was around 25 bucks after that u need to just get some screens and squish em together with something to extract the juice.

    O my batch has been in secondary for bout a week, im allowing it to go another week before bottling. What steps do i take for bottling to make it carbonated? From what i jave read it needs to sit about another 2 weeks before going in the fridge? Thanks for the help, it tastes awesome so far!

    Pear cider

    Slightly nervous due to the consistency, i added about 2 cups water while heating on the stove top. Added just 1/2 cup of light brown sugar. So we'll see how it turns out... Im going to allow 4 wks before racking to secondary depending how it looks...

    I didnt add petic enzyme to secondary, but did before fermentation. I did add some sparkloid and what a difference seen already! I put the airlock bak on and i have some bubbles but not alot, is this normal? Thanks forthe Help o far!

    Pear cider

    Juiced about 25 pears to do a cider. Used champagne yeast and a lil peptic enzyme... The juice seems really thick... Anyone make pear def and think the same thing.

    M running out of time on my peas but dont have a carboy, i was going to use a plastic gallon milk jug... But was wondering if i could juice the pears and refrig the juice until ready to use???

    Forgot the recipe was .5 gal juice. Stove top 20 min with 1/4 cup honey and brown sugar. Also added 1/4 cup corn sugar by accident lol thought it was cane sugar...opps. Added yeast after cooling to 70 degrees, also added 3 chopped tart red apples to the batch.

    Its a 1/2 gallon batch made with store bought juice. Used 1/4 packt of red star. Will do a test tonight! Thanks

    Slightly worried.... One of my smaller batches is rarely bubbling... Maybe 4-5 bubbles per minute. Looks like the yeasties have slowed down, i dont even have a bubbling layer at the top anymore... Its only been going 1.5 wks. What should i do, if anything? This one has the blow off line, as it...
