Thanks guys, I figured out what we did wrong. We took the reading from a sample that drained direct from the grain bag. When I got a different sample we are at 1.070.

Brew a ipa last night and when I check the sp it is reading 1.122. This seems high to me could this be correct or did something go wrong. We used 9.3# of golden light malt extract 1# crystal 10, 1# Munich, .5# carapils and .25# crystal 40. This was for a 5 gal batch. I though the sp would be...
