Clone recipe request: Deschutes Fresh Squeezed IPA

So? How did it turn out?
  2. 7

    So far, so good.

another tell tale sign is that the hop cones will start to turn brown. Leave them on there and they will become completely brown and past use.

    Ring around the carboy

X2 Do not use dish soap. If you can't find the oxyclean, use bleach and let it soak overnight. It will come off.

Any tips for earning extra cash?

Seriously dude, that car isn't worth a $7500 paint job. Take it to maaco and save some money.

Thinking about trying a 3gal BIAB Ten Fidy Clone... is it possible?

Mine measured at 1.096, i had it in primary for two weeks, secondary for four weeks. It got down to 1.019 and i just bottled it the other night. Tasted it from the bottling bucket, and its pretty boozy and just a tad sweet. I'm thinking a month or so from now, it's gonna be great.

Thinking about trying a 3gal BIAB Ten Fidy Clone... is it possible?

i would like to know too. I made a 3 gal. Flying dog gonzo clone and it had more grains than your recipe. I found this link... https://www.homebrewtalk.com/f68/ten-fidy-clone-321584/ It had this recipe for a 5 gal. batch of ten fidy...perhaps we can use this and multiply by .66. 12 lbs...

    Oak chips for stout

I soaked the chips in the bourbon for two weeks while the beer was in the primary, then i left the oak chips in the secondary for two and a half weeks. The beer turned out great, but next time, I'll go three to four weeks and add more bourbon.

Cut back on Beer because the belly is too big?

Yeah, I just started cutting back. I work out almost every day, but we have a "weight race" at our job and i pledged to lose 18 pounds in 12 weeks so i have to cut back. I ride a bike a lot in the summer, so it's not an issue then, but the winters, I get fat.

    The Homebrew Beer Farts

Haha, I eat black beans and brown rice almost every day, (try to eat healthy to balance out the beer drinkin). I can tell the difference between my bean farts and my homebrew farts. They both stink, but the homebrew farts smell a little better.

    Oak chips for stout

:mug::mug::mug:Put them right in the bourbon. I used chips on the stout i'm drinking now. I've read that the spirals impart better flavor and will try them next. Also, my friend told me that 16 oz. of bourbon was too much, so i strained some out of the soaking jar. i figure i put 8 oz. of...

    Raspberry Wheat Recipe feedback?

yeah , i made a raspberry wheat last year and everyone loved it. It didn't last long...GONE. I added the rasberry puree in the primary just as the initial fermentation slowed down. Did not add extract at the end. Would do it again, just maybe not wheat, because I am not a wheat beer fan.

Cracked open my first bottle of homebrew...

I am surprised it is PERFECTLY CARBONATED after just one week in the bottle. Give it another week and try it again. There is a good post on here about bottle conditioning. Search for it. The bitterness will most likely go away with time. Happy Thanksgiving.

    Carbing In A Growler

I can tell you from personal experience that I have used and currently am using growlers to carb beer. I've only been brewing since August 2010, but in the time I've used my growlers on three separate occasions to carb my beer. They carb up for me just like the 12 oz. bottles with no issues. My...
