Who has had laser eye surgery?

I had it done about 2 years ago in Denver and an thrilled with the results. Perfect 20/20 vision in both eyes. I had some nighttime driving issues with halos around lights for the first month or two, and after that they went away. I actually had a very bizarre experience with it. I found the...

    Newbie from Colorado!!

Welcome! High Hops is a great place with a good loyalty program and helpful staff. I've also found Hops & Berries (2 locations in Fort Collins: 1 in Old Town and one off Harmony) to be very helpful and knowledgeable. Good luck!

    Great Literature not about Beer

One of my favorite books of all time is "The Jungle". It was written to be a call-to-arms for the union/labor movement in the United States, but instead was largely responsible for revolutionizing food safety and meat inspection in this country. This book was the starting point that led me to...

    Biggest pot on electric stove?

We have a Frigidaire Professional series slide in electric glass top range. I use a 10 gallon Blichmann pot and can easily bring over 7.5 gallons to an extremely vigorous boil in under a half hour. It will keep the boil going at Med High heat without issue. Very happy with that range/stove!

    Persistent white mold problem

Do you mill your own grain and, if so, in the same area you are fermenting and transferring your beer? I ask because I ran into the exact same issue this summer when I had to move all of my fermenting beer down to the basement due to high temperatures. I also found that if I leave a glass out...

    Bratwurst Pie

Just had to chime in and say that this dish is an artery-clogging masterpiece! I added some sauerkraut to the filling (after drying it on some paper towels so that the mix didn't get too watery). Also added in a second egg to help the kraut set. Just amazing flavor!!

I'd vote that all of us with an interest in it flag as many of the scalping CL posts as we can.

If a "fake" number worked, wouldn't it potentially stand to reason that it was probably some other members real number? Mine wouldn't work at all for the members session, but I could buy ones for Sat night. It's plausible that "fake" numbers took the opportunity from others...

    Advice on vacuum bag size

Good point. Learn your machine and how it works. I've used mine to package hundreds of pounds if meat over the years and know its quirks, therefore am comfortable using smaller bags.
