This Sunday morning is cloudy, cool, and lovely. I plan to get some fish and vegetables going in the crockpot and some spent grain bread in the bread machine. Then I'm off to watch my Lions hopefully get their first win of the season. Not totally sure why I like to torture myself by watching...

This is really interesting. In the summer, and some fall and spring as well, it is way too hot for the oven to be on. I grill our pizza, but sometimes it seems silly to take 30 minutes to get the charcoal ready for <10 minutes of use.

I do this with tecate a lot. Never tried it with craft beer. Water. Watching this painfully close Spartan game.

Well I'm in El Paso which is equal parts Texas , Mexico, and New Mexico. Austin has a great beer scene. Only like 10 hours away. This state is so darn big.

Coffee with this creature. A lot to do for beer today. Got a yeast starter going for my dead ringer brew this weekend. Need to get my co2 tank filled and ship some of Ed Worts Apfelwein (aged 15 months) and Skeeter Pee to my friend for her birthday. Should be a good day off.

I bought it. It's 10 hours of instruction that you can access for a year and I thought it would be enjoyable. I could've just bought a book but it's nice to change up the medium once in a while. $29 isn't too bad. I don't know who they think is paying $595... Thanks for the chemistry of beer...

Brewed 5 gallons of hefeweizen yesterday and it was my first time using liquid yeast!

19,872 + 5 gallons liberty cream ale = 19,877 gallons!

I have not been there, will have to check it out! Reliance Outdoor supply on the west side has great prices and they will order pretty much anything you want from their supplier!
