    HB pumpkin ale. It's cloudy, stormy, and it hailed earlier. Hopefully it's nice enough to grill tomorrow. Steak and eggs for dinner in a few.

    I believe it was the carbonation episode. I just listen to it through the podcast so I don't have a link. A lot of people seem to have luck with force carbing but I have had trouble getting it consistently right so I just go the patient route since listening to that.

    I'm certainly no expert but I noticed a lot of people recommending beer batter. Sure, you would get some flavor from the beer but, I thought, beer batter was special because of the CO2. So, if the beer has a carbonation issue, I don't know if that would be the best use for it. Just my $0.02

    What I did for beer today

    Transferred my imperial red to a secondary. It's been 5 weeks since brew day and I'm worried it's stuck at 1.036 (OG 1.094). Moved it from my fermentation chamber to ambient temp, transferred a bit of the trub so there would be a lot of yeast and added yeast nutrient and energizer. I'll check...
