Need some help guys. I've had this in the carboy for 24 days. I had a OG of 1.052 and last reading took was 1.022. I followed the recipe exactly as it was described and been fermenting around 70 degrees. Any suggestions on why the gravity is taking so long to drop? Any recommendation?

I am also planning on enter this and it will be my first competition as well. I plan on enter an all grain Hefeweizen, so we'll see how it goes. Good luck

I would go with the gift card. There are so many different ways to customize all this brewing equipment and setups, he may have something in his mind that he plans on doing that may not match up with a certain piece of equipment that you purchase for him. It's a nice gesture either way.

Hey guys, New all grain brewer here as well. I've been fine tuning my brutus 10 and finally have it up and running good. It's good to see other OK brewers on here enjoying the homebrew hobby.

Brewed this on Sunday in my new brutus 10 herms setup. OG came in good at 1.052 Can't wait to try this
