    souring beer using InstantPot?

To sour one gallon its probably gonna sour super fast esp if you pitch the whole package. (I have had a five gallon batch sour in a day and half on a new pitch, I repitched a lacto culture and soured in 8 hours) I do not ever drop my ph on the wort before pitching lacto. I like to use White...

    Neomexicanus Rhizomes

I mean at this point and time I am willing to give it a shot. However I was able to find some plant from sell by some one and I bought two of them. I am very interested in the Neomexicanus due to them appearing to have a good shot in my area, and there roots so to speak being close to here.

Hail Saison | Farmhouse Bottle Dreg Repitch | Grain to Glass | Sour Ale

So, we started by collecting a sample of yeast from a few bottles of Farmhouse Ale.... Then we built a starter up to pitch into an ale, and let it get down to business. But of course, that wasn't complicated enough.... We ended up splitting THAT batch, and doing something entirely different for...

Beginner Brewing All Grain | Brew In A Bag

I have an app on my phone and I looked at a few other sources and I would say its just outside the SRM range as far as the BJCP would of been concerned. But I had no plans of competing with either of these. I was going to ask would you be interested in maybe coming up with an Extract and an All...

Beginner Brewing All Grain | Brew In A Bag

Thanks for the link Ill check it out. How far out of the color range do you think that the extract I brewed was? I had not looked up the BJCP range on Cream Ale, but now I am curious. I was in the middle of brewing some other things during that time and just kind of wanted some knock down...

Beginner Brewing All Grain | Brew In A Bag

The next time I brew extract I for sure am going to be coming up with my own recipe. I do think that he was on to something that LME helps produce a darker beer. The kit that I bought had both LME and DME and was the stores recipe. I have noted though before that using just DME (Pale and...

Beginner Brewing All Grain | Brew In A Bag

I just watched that video. He has really good content! As I kind of thought his was slightly darker too, and there was a difference between the All Grain and Extract. I felt like my Extract beer was just a little too dark, esp when compared to the All Grain version. Neither recipe were mine...

    Cleaning RO water jugs?

I have never cleaned mine. I have been using them for about a year now so there is that... It has never even entered my mind to. Once they are empty I normally get them filled that week and let them sit until brew day. I brew pretty often too so maybe that helps?
