    are my hops okay???

Lots of mine that were hidden behind my trellis came out white but still worked out fine for me. For drying I weigh a small amount and check daily until they lose about 2/3rds of their water weight, yours will probably be done a lot quicker than normal

First Hops Harvest...Or Lack There Of

They dried on the vine, you'll want to pick them a few weeks earlier next year. At least you got a head start on next year! My 2nd years really took off this year

    Hoppo's Hops Garden

Mine took about a day and a half, I'm no pro but it seems like it worked. They were about 2 pounds wet and ended up at around 6 oz dried so I figured I got more than enough moisture out for tossing them in a freezer. A couple weeks in zip loc bags should be fine in the freezer, I wouldn't worry...

Advice Needed: Rhizomes Not Growing After Almost 4 Weeks

If you still want to give hops a chance I'd suggest buying a crown from great lake hops. For about 2-3 $$ more you'd get an established plant!! Now would be a good time to plant too, you wouldn't hops this year but you'd allow the roots to establish themselves.

Wow!! This is awesome but I need help ASAP

Toss them in some moist dirt! If you have some rooting hormone around put some on the base and put the cutting all the way down till the base of the leaves barley touch the dirt! Keep it moist and warm and it should take pretty soon. There's many ways to propagate from cuttings but this...

First All Grain/ First Post - Question

I'd leave it alone. I'd wait to taste it and make adjustments to the original recipe for the next brew day :mug:

First All Grain/ First Post - Question

I made a chinook ipa with a somewhat similar grain bill/hop additions and it turned out fine. I think it was a 2 1/2 gallon batch with about 4 oz in the boil and 2 dry hopped. I'd dry hop with just a couple to be safe
