    I have to side with beerman0001. Dont waste your money. Even with the higher OG with pitching 2 you will be fine. Your effeciency is also going to depend on alot more than that.     Cleaning Burnt Hot Break Material

    I'm not proud but i have done this several times. I have found that oxy-clean soak in hot water for about 45min-1 hour works great. That stuff cleans everything.

    For me I like to use rhe bucket for primary and my carboy for secondary/ clearing. It is easier for me to cold crash in the carboy as far as putting it inthe fridge.     +1 on the silicone hose and stainless QD. I use both and they work very well.

    Just a thought. You could get some sheet metal form it to an angel in front of the fan so that it would be like a small piece of duct work. Then you would be able to place the 2" foam so it has some structure to it. Just a thought. Whatever you do just get it done so you dont lose a great piece...

    It looks good. I have a question about the center legs. Are they capped? It would seem to me that when you go to clean it out stuff could get stuck on the dead end space. Other than that this is a real nice piece. Keep posting I would loike to see the end product and how it all gets connected.
