Cost Effective All Stainless eBIAB system

Are you planning on using strainer basket like the UniBrau system? The strainer basket sucks for recirc, I've had much better results since I went to an BIAB false bottom from Brew Hardware. Sadly, Brew Hardware doesn't offer a smaller one to fit a 6g pot, but there is an option from Amazon.

Need Guidance with Setting up Power

Older 240v is 2 hots and a ground, no neutral. You have the capacity, so I think you are better off installing a standard 30amp breaker in the panel feeding a spa disconnect with GFCI. Have you priced out a panel mounted GFCI breaker? Spa panels are 1/2 or 1/3 the price.

    BIAB Mashing Out

A mashout is really only needed for fly sparging.

What would it take for me to get a sink down in my basement beer cave?

I think a 5-7 gallon bucket with a cheap sump pump routed to the washing machine drain standpipe would be your cheapest/best hillbilly option.

    stever1000's recirculating e-BIAB

Nice setup! Question-Why are you recirculating during the boil?

But Cargill is privately owned, so that's good, right?

Can pbw be used on vynil tubing?

Starsan is a sanitizer, not a cleaner. You have to clean 1st, then sanitize.

Oh no, now they've absorbed Chip as well!

    Brau Supply

No he doesn't. He has to order at least 100 per size and he thinks that a 12" will take years to sell. Maybe if we bombard him with requests he'll see the light. This size would also fit an 8g NB tallboy pot, probably others. I used to recirculate in my 15g pot using the strainer basket setup...

    Whaaa...? OK, mind blown now.

    Brew day no-no?

Not from squeezing. Tannins are a result of high temperature and pH. Squeezing may make the wort a little cloudy, but that will all drop out after fermentation. Go ahead and squeeze your sack to get the fluids out!

After years of brewing I've had 2 infections in a row. Help with sanitation.

does your brewpot have a valve? It could be that-http://brulosophy.com/2014/11/13/problem-identification-or-helping-a-buddy-stay-in-the-hobby/

legal or illegal maybe just not right

Devil's advocate here. What if the OP is the bad neighbor here? What if he's out there beating his wife and kids regularly? It's still invasion of privacy, I agree, but we don't have the full picture. My sincerest apologies to OP Brew NY, I am not accusing you of domestic abuse! I think asking...

    DIY high cfm exhaust vent

It's not the heat so much as the combustion gases. This is why more indoor brewers are using electric systems. It may be cheaper to convert your rig to electric than to try and run gas indoors.

    Brewery naming etiquette?

You think naming the brewery is hard, wait til it's time to start naming the beers! Does your neighborhood have a name that could be incorporated into the brewery name?

    DIY high cfm exhaust vent

Yeah, probably. What's the btu rating for each burner? I'm guessing pretty high. You may even need a powered make-up air supply system.

    No fermentation again and again

Yes, Yooper is absolutely right. You only rinse once. You should also bump up your batch size slightly so you have some spare wort for hydrometer readings. Can your pot handle a 1.5 gallon batch?
