    carbing soda in a keg

What pressure are you carbing at? and for how long?

    My head on the soda

3 feet may not be enough. I have never really found a good answer for how much resistance is in the 1/8" line, but I use more like 5 to 8 feet. The other option which is actually what I switched to is the micromatic flow control adapter... I can get you a url. Either way it seems like you...

    My head on the soda

"Maybe"... how are you dispensing?... e.g. what type of faucet, how much line, diameter of line, psi, etc? Basically it is a balance. You want soda at 30 or so PSI, meaning that you need a longer hose to drop the pressure so it doesn't come out as fast out of the faucet. If you just lower...

    My head on the soda

My guess is that your soda is dispensing too fast and degassing when it hits the glass (hence the great head).

filling glass bottles with force carbed soda

Personally I have had bottle bombs. I would be a little cautious with glass for soda. Thats just my $0.02.

filling glass bottles with force carbed soda

Can you explain why exploding isn't a problem? If you carbonate the liquid using a carbonator or a keg to 30+ PSI (as high as 80 PSI for a carbonator) and put it into glass bottles designed for 12 PSI exploding is a risk. I would agree if you are only carbonating it to the same level as beer...

filling glass bottles with force carbed soda

You will loose some, but with that little bit of headspace I can't imagine it would be a problem. Thats pretty much how they fill bottles normally. I would just make sure that your bottles can handle whatever pressure you are putting into them. Soda is usually at a higher pressure than beer...

    Using common extracts for soda?

I tried the vanilla thing a few times in small batches using my 1 gallon keg. Never really got anything that I thought was worth drinking. I am still working on it from time to time,...

    Anyone Using the Coca-Cola Breakmate?

I emailed him. He seemed to want $100 or so per, but wasn't clear on the state of them (e.g. working, broken, etc)... and shipping was going to be $85 to me. So $200 for something that may or may not work, I decided not to get one.

Jager Machine as Jockey Box/Seltzer Chiller?

I have the chance to get a Jager Machine pretty cheap. Right now I dispense seltzer from a carbonator through a 5 gallon keg in the fridge for limitless seltzer. Anyone think I could rig a jager machine to use the cold plate/chiller as a chiller for my seltzer? Or does it not have enough...

CO2 Tank - Export / Import to Canada

Wow... sorry guys. That hurts. I got my 20 lb tank for $30... and it only costs me $30 to get an exchange. Wish I could help, but anything that crosses the border adds a lot of complexity.

    30 Plate Wort Chiller

I think you double posted... https://www.homebrewtalk.com/f16/dudadiesel-plate-chiller-318011/ Also asking $70 in that thread and $80 in this one.

    Burner Gas Gauge

+1 to the above. Get a spare tank. Any "pressure" gauge won't actually work. It is the same problem as a CO2 tank pressure gauge. Since the contents of the tank is actually a liquid that boils off the pressure of the tank doesn't really change as the tank empties (absent of temperature...
