How to remove kegerator shank from tower?

Well, ACE was a lot closer than harbor freight, but this was the best $6.50 I have spent in a while (after $5 ace rewards coupon). I wish I could have found a cheaper wrench to use, but ah welll, it was welllllllll worth it. Had them off in seconds after I made this...

How to remove kegerator shank from tower?

Not sure I know what you mean? The two sided wrench will fit over the fitting, but not turn where it is situated now... its too wide. The one sided I can't get to "lock in" or even slightly "grip" the fitting at all. It is about the right size it appears, but maybe it is not, b/c it just...

How to remove kegerator shank from tower?

Yeah, the tower wrench is exactly what I was envisioning making. I can probably get a cheap generic wrench and dremel out of a piece for a lot cheaper than $40...

How to remove kegerator shank from tower?

Oh man, I tried a few more times over the weekend - for 15-20 a pop b/c then I would get too frustrated - and mine are just impossible to get off. Any other tips on this? I am thinking of buying a 1" or 1 1/16" wrench (a normal 12 pt. closed wrench) and dremeling a piece of it out to slide...

How to remove kegerator shank from tower?

I just bought one of these b/c my shanks on my tower look just like the top photo. I can't get them off even with this thing?! I assume you are supposed to use the "one sided" end to be able to turn them easier? Mine won't grip with that side unless I am using it incorrectly? If I use the...

First offroad trip 2010 - Plenty of pics...

And my carnage: Me getting ready to come up out of "winch hill": Me at the top of winch hill ("point of impact") - LOL - no winch needed obviously: The (somewhat) minor carnage: The rock that did the damage: The tire was apparently repairable, to use at least as a spare...

First offroad trip 2010 - Plenty of pics...

Well, I know we have some jeepers here and some got a kick out of some of my offroading posts last year, so figured I'd continue the trend. Headed out to Rausch Creek ORV this weekend, first time 2010 (got a frequent driver pass so expect more), and with some new mods on my JK 4-door including...

    New Jeep!

Looking good McKBrew... I saw you jump in the Rubi v. Modded X post over on JF. LOL. Now I remember why I stick to JK-Forum, moreso that JeepForum. Their both great, but some of the characters over there on JF are laughable.

    Bacon or Chocolate?

Is choc. covered bacon actually... good? There is a candy store here that sells it, but I've never bit the bullet for like $20/lb. or something. LOL.

    New Jeep!

Going to have to disagree with this statement, whole heartedly... I ran 32" BFG KM mud terrains for 20k miles before I upgraded and they were not loud at all. Probably actually quieter than my brothers BFG AT KOs that were fairly worn. Also, handled snow like a champ in PA this winter (ice...

    New Jeep!

I like the color... but I am biased. Here is mine: Sorry for the mall crawler type shots, but they are the only ones since my latest mods. I'll be taking her out to the Rausch Creek ORV park for first time this year (went plenty when I was more "stock") on April 3. It's locked front and...

    Shameless self-promotion

Congrats!!! (I think... *scratches head*) *Coming from a CPA with 5 years in public, who will be making Mngr later this year (and not sure he even wants to if it means much more work LOL)

    ford focus

This happens in my Jeep sometimes and I just have to rock the steering wheel back and forth while trying to turn the ignition to on to unlock it. Then I can turn the wheel straighter, turn it off, and pull the key? Funny, my fiance has a 2008 focus and I don't think we've encountered this issue...
