    Time for another homemade mead. It might be light in colour, but I'm enjoying the clarity. 7.3% ABV Wild ferment, acacia hydromel. Seems to have a surprising plum aroma. All in all an improvement over my previous batches.

    Reservoir Dogs single hop IPA, hopped with Styrian Wolf. Was getting a fair amount of conifer-like aromas when cold. As it warmed up, melon-like aromas started drifting to the foreground. All in all an enjoyable drink.

    Going with another one of my homemade meads, this one improved with age. It's now a nice, refreshing, acacia hydromel with notes reminiscent of a white wine. Which would be even better if I actually enjoyed white wine. 😅

    Well at least thus far I've yet to have an infection in my meads so at least I appear to have the sanitation part down.     I suppose I could give that a try, though I'll likely replace LME with DME since getting it might be easier for me. Just so many choice in beer brewing and I haven't even started yet.

    Stopped by a Beer pub before heading off to a concert yesterday. Started of with a lovely Chimay Trapist dubbel And continued with a lambic, Lindemans Kriek which was on tap. And something to quench the thirst after the concert.

    It's Friday and today I'm having another homemade mead... While I will finish the pint, I won't be offering it to anyone for at least another 6 months... Yeah nope, had to wash it down with something better. At least I enjoyed this one.

    Let's see now, I have some noble plans for 2023, including; -An actual palatable mead -Kiwi Melomel per request -Banana Melomel (due to my inexplicable obsession with the idea) -Spruce tip mead -2023's batch of my winter mead (still need to see how last years batch turned out after a year.)...
