    Chugger problems

I have two of the original green chuggers with the stainless heads that came out when they first started advertising on here. I haven't been able to use them yet but will hopefully have better luck. It sounds like it's been hit or miss with the problem. I'll attempt to drill out my impellers...

You're right...not cheap but pretty awesome.

    Wood Frame Brutus RIMS Project

I'm working on a build just like this. I'll be home in a little over a month and will finish. I got a little crazy with the size of the stand so that will be something I chop down a bit. I was a little paranoid about scorching the wood but now I see it shouldn't be a problem with the...

    Wood Brutus 10

I'm building a wood brutus type rig as well and I think I got a little overzealous with the size of it. I used 2x6's as the top and bottom and mitered the corners like you did. Instead of nails I used lug bolts (got a whole bunch for free and they look cool). I wasn't planning on doing a top...

I'm done with brewing. All my beers taste like ****

Also, rain is formed around particulate in the air such as dust, salt etc. So, whatever the rain formed itself around is now in your beer water. It can be filtered but so can tap water.

    Awesome Chugger Pump Cust Service

I missed the pump giveaway by a couple of days but he did offer the regular pumps on eBay at one point for I think $79.99 with a free upgrade to the stainless steel heads. I took advantage of that and when they showed up with the plastic heads, I sent an e-mail and the stainless heads were on...

    Awesome Chugger Pump Cust Service

This is great to hear. I bought mine about 9 months ago and haven't been able to use them yet since Uncle Sam has me out of the country. I'm expecting no issues since I haven't even taken them out of the box yet but good to know they take care of their customers in the event their product has...

    Bobby M You Duh Man

Got my two sightglasses w/ thermometers a couple days ago. Won't get to actually install them until around December. Thanks for the quick shipping though Bobby! Hopefully, by the time I get back to the states I'll have orderded all of the parts I need for my new semi-automated brew system and...

    Wooden Single Tier Spacing

I'm building something very similar to ScubaSteve's rig with a few of my own modifications. Like I said, I may end up cutting it down some before I bolt it all together. Also, I'm making a wood version of LonnieMac's Brutus10 system so this stand will pretty much house everything...pumps, CFC...

    Wooden Single Tier Spacing

This is going to be living along the wall of my garage and will be on 5 inch honkin' casters. I would go smaller but I aquired these somehow and have been really wanting to use them. I'll be able to roll my whole rig down the street full of water and wort with my propane tanks on these things...

    Wooden Single Tier Spacing

I started building my wood stand today and have the kegs spaced six inches apart with 9 inches of space front and back and 12 inches on each side. I'm hoping this enough but I still plan on using aluminum flashing inside the rails to deflect some of the heat. The inside dimensions of the...

My new brew system, a brutus 10 with some nice modifications

This is a great build...bought my burners last night. Here we go!

    Buying Faucets

I bought six 525SS's from Austin Homebrew at 23.99 a piece when they were on sale. It was the lowest price I had seen. Next are my shanks, tailpieces, some new beer lines and paint (I'm painting my currently white kegerator black with Rustoleum appliance paint). It's gonna be sweet.

    Homebrewstuff.com / Plate Chiller

    I'm only seeing a 10, 20, and 50 plate chiller on KegCowboy. The 20 is $59.99 and the 50 is $129.00. Still a better deal than homebrewstuff...but hey, I'm building a CFC.

    6-keg Kegerator

Sweet idea...the freezer shouldn't be a frequently visited part of this kegerator so I wouldn't worry about it being opened enough to effect the beer or the energy efficiency of the whole unit.

    6-keg Kegerator

So this thread is very old and my kegerator is still awesome, however, I just recently (FINALLY) received my 6 stainless perlick faucets for the door. The next on the list are the shanks and I will be finishing this beast. Along with the finishing work will be a fresh coat of black appliance...

    Plastic Conicals???

If you don't have access to a Tank-depot locally, keep an eye on the shipping charges. I've been having my fair rubs with UPS lately and their dimensional weight charges. Basically, you get charged what a package that size should weigh and how much space it will occupy on the truck. This is...

    Tank depot Inductor tanks?

I know this is an older thread but I just realized that there's a Tank Depot in Jacksonville. This just became much more affordable to me since I won't have to pay shipping. Hopefully, I'll be able to get over there during the week since they're aren't open at all on the weekends.

Burner too good to be true????

The shipping on just one of those cast iron burners from agrisupply.com is $6.00 which brings it to $13.99...still cheaper than other sites price on just the burner. It's $11.50 shipping for one banjo burner. At $29.95 + shipping, it brings them to about the same price without shipping as the...
