HB IPA with Simcoe and Triumph hops. Think I need to adjust the FWH utilization on my brewing software, this was projected at 60+ IBUs and just doesn't taste like it. I was thinking using 70-80% utiliz. for my future recipes using first wort hopping, has anyone had a similar experience?

Was drinking lots of homebrew during the Brewer's Friend zoom meeting yesterday. IPA, Irish red, Porter, Marzen, and didn't take a picture of a damn one lol

Homebrewed kolsch (anybody else competing in the Kolsch Cup?) The batch has been bottle conditioning for 2 weeks, and now that it's carbonated I'll stick 'em in the back of the fridge for lagering. Cheers

Pocahoptus by Center of the Universe Brewing is one of my favorites, yet unobtainable in my current location. Their website lists "four hops from the Pacific Northwest" but nothing more specific about which hops. Does anyone have a decent clone recipe? I'm sure any combo of 4 "C" hops will...

How is that? I can't seem to commit to a whole 6 pack when I see it at the store...
