    Cooking pizza on BGE...any tips?

I have owned a WSM for a long time but am considering purchasing a BGE. I am actually entering a rib competition next Saturday does anyone have any tips for using a BGE for the 1st time? I am confident in my rib recipe but controlling the temp will be the key.

Old Ale Old Ale (HBT 2009 Bronze)

I am thinking about brewing this today and pitching on a Wyeast 1968 cake. I have never done this before before but do I need to worry considering this yeast recommends a diactyl rest?

Tell me how to make a Belgian IPA.

If you make this let me know how it turns out. This is a style that I am trying to get down.

Has anyone seen this?! (yeast starter saga)

This guy is a lunatic. You need to check out his 11 minute review of Southern Tier IPA where he brings his wife in at the end. Classic!

    Imperial Red help

Next time I would tone down the crystal as it was a little on the sweet side. I did however like the hop combination.

    Pump and plate chiller fittings

I just purchased the 40 plate chiller as well as the chugger pump and had a few questions on what other fittings I will need to piece it all together. I have a 2 tier system with my HLT on top in which I was using the gravity method to my mashtun which is a rubbermaid cooler. My HLT has a 3\8...

American IPA Bell's Two Hearted Ale Clone (close as they come)

Don't worry about leaving them in too long as I have dry hopped for months!

American IPA Bell's Two Hearted Ale Clone (close as they come)

I agree with the OP this beer gets better with age. My beer is 14 weeks old and it has gotten better with age. I will be brewing this again once the weather changes here in MN.

American IPA Bell's Two Hearted Ale Clone (close as they come)

Finally tasted my version after 3 days of carbonation and all I can say is wow. My OG and FG were right on but I have yet to dry hop. I brewed 7.5 gallons and wanted to try the beer dry hopped and not dry hopped. I will buy a 6 pack of the real deal and report back soon.

American IPA Bell's Two Hearted Ale Clone (close as they come)

I have not kegged mine yet but will let you know how it turns out. I used liquid yeast with a big starter but you could use Notty but IMO it would be a different beer. After reading 35 pages of posts, I still have a few ?'s. I tried to ask the OP but his mailbox is full and not accepting new...
