    Another Carboy Horror Story

Agreed, silence has been respected. For those that remain in use I suggest keeping them in a milk crate for protection.

Am I crazy, or is my neighbor?

She let you know she does not like it and she may never talk to you again. You win with this. However if she does just say you understand her and are planning on taking it down. Just do not say in 10 years. Next time you begin to list obstacles you have in removeing. Say My brother in law was...

    Aging Blueberry Bragot

I made this Blueberry Wheat Braggot recipe. In primary for 4 weeks and bottled on 8-6-15 and gave it a try last night Results are in. It needs to age. Good malty taste and mouth feel, low hops aroma and hop taste. a good fruty wine charter. A bit hot. So for how long should it age...

When to harvest and use these hops?

Thank you I had the same question. Mine look to be a couple of weeks out. They should be ready while I am away on vacation for 2 weeks. There seems to be a small window to harvest. Is it better to harvest early or late? From the video late there is nothing early you have grassyass.

    Pranking my buddy

Maybe ferment first then heat to 175 ish to boil off ethanol. then cool quickly, dry hop in secondary (to add flavor back) and keg to carb. Or get some Kaliber and add some hops and rebottle

    Belgian Mild

with the low <4% abv. 10 % candi sugar is not going to be that much like 6oz. I would either leave out or use honey or table sugar. (unless you have it left over from another batch)

    hops not growing

do not look too bad. I would get some mulch or use peat moss. pull the weeds around the base, loosen the dirt about an inch or two and mix a small amount of fertilizer in as well as lime you sugget it was needed then cover this with the mulch. water enough to wet the mulch. leave be. Then let...

Damn Japanese beetles are invading my Hopsyard!

I only have 5 plants. I have been fighting these guys for a while. I have 2 traps upwind which do work. I also check the plants and crush them when I can. I also bought chemical insecticide, I have other bushes in the yard they are also eatiing and spray the bastards often.

    Can my house handle EBIAB?

You're good or maybe I did not understand the issue. The outside outlets are connected to a 20a( I JUST CHECKED) gfci outlet in my UPSTAIRS bathroom. That gives you 20a in the closet as well if you overdraw the 20a the gfi blows and you need to reset.

In a rough spot due to my bad timing. Should I keg or let sit!?

leave it and can you get it colder

    Can my house handle EBIAB?

Most likely the bathroom is wire 15a check if the kitchen is 20a. You could run a heavy duty extention cord to the brew area. And yes it is normal for several outlets to be conected to the bathroom GFI.
