    I would assume they will check and would open one because it is in the SS and a xray would not see throught it as the contents of a glass bottle can be seen. you can bottle from your keg.

    I would say you have something onther then yeast active. The yeast WPL530 should go to 80% is the listed max and that would give your FG as 1.019. Take everything apart and sanitize call it Christ's Tripel sour http://www.whitelabs.com/yeast/wlp530-abbey-ale-yeast

    Question on item #6. would this be used to run a motor and be programed for on 3 minutes then off for 3 and then back on 3 continue until turned off? Does it remember the program after being turned off? or does it need to be set each time it is turned on?

    I suggest .50 crystal if you do not want to change to another malt. 45 min boil on cascade plus the 7 min. 1 lb of light candy sugar No whirlfloc I plug this in with a 4 gal boil and get just making a belgian blond used (beertools) OG 1.055 fg 1.010 IBU 23 SRM 5.6 % 5.9

    you said: after about 8 days at 70F, fermentation stopped, and FG was 1.035. What was the antisipated FG? When you tasted it was it sweet? Are you sure it stopped? Did you take a seocnd reading? 12 days may not be long enough to finish, watch out for bottle bombs
