Your bottom bucket needs to be lower. Remember, the autosiphon starts the process but it's gravity that does the work.

There are a lot of posts about people "messing up" a beer and blending into another. What if it isn't a mistake? What if you brew 2 proper beers, and decide to blend them is that ok? At the end of the day this is a stupid argument, because it would be an unenforcable rule in competition...
