I've done a 6 week primary on a red ale, best beer I made. Got a English brown I just bottled that went from January 31 to last Monday April 13 before I bottled. The sample tasted fine.

It's all golden, I used to worry too until I read the test. Now I figure that because it's only 5 gallons and no long term storage (beer usually gone in 2 months or less) I needn't worry at all. Brew on my good fellow:mug:

@njviking Click the top left corner and hold while dragging the blue box to cover where you want gradient. Then click in the area you want to gradient and hold button while drawing the gradient in the direction you want it to fade.

Unfortunately nice days are few and far in between here this time of year. I did get outside and modify my 3 wire rtd pt100 probe wire. I soldered a 3 pin xlr connection into the system so I can take the rims tube off and apart for cleaning without having to un-wire the temperature probe...

His experiment proves to me that HSA is not something to worry about.

Problem is you get 2 opposing holes with most of those bits.:D

It will be good especially with the brown sugar. I'm doing a lower power cider that way and the gravity sample was delicious.
