    Seasoning a NEW rifle barrel

To achieve repeatable accuracy. I agree but if you wreck the potential accuracy of a barrel, no amount of skill will make up the difference.

    Seasoning a NEW rifle barrel

A local long range shooter told me to shoot 3 clean shoot 3 clean etc. Helps lap in the barrel and smooth out the rough spots and tooling marks. Also the early cleaning helps with copper build up so its not such a chore at the end. They make special abrasive coated bullets for this process...

Thanks to everyone for making this thread so entertaining. And @wilserbrewer it was because of your posts that I had decided to NOT squeeze. I just didn't realize how hard it is to not do it. Like not scratching an itch or something.;)

    Squeezer

Hello, my name is JINKS and I'm a squeezer.:cross: Today was my first brew in a bag, and after reading tons of threads across the web, I decided to NOT squeeze. The problem started when I pulled up and dangled the basket in my Bayou Classic 44qt kettle. It was just hanging there peacefully...

Haze after adding spices to secondary?

Isn't that just a fancy word for snot? I see the start of mucus there. I had that problem with the cinnamon in my pumpkin ale.

The "We'll fix your label for you" thread

I can't find a matching font with that name that even looks close to what you have, even in my word 97. Or did you want to switch to the current cracked font as seen on a google search? Here are two different styles plain with the text removed and then with the Pembroke Pines Florida around the...

The "We'll fix your label for you" thread

What is that brewlihan font? I'd like to try it bigger. Here is what I have so far, is this what you were thinking? This is a LOUD one if you want color. Just playing around. I kind of like the Brewlihan bigger so if I can get the font name from you I'll use it to make a cleaner version.

Have you ever frozen three carboys of beer... because I have

My chest freezer/fermentation chamber is right up against the garage door and the fermwrap couldn't keep it thawed this winter at 10 below so I accidentally froze a red. Best beer I've made to date. Also on a side note I got almost no yeast in the bottles. They all carbonated properly and I...
