    Kentucky Derby Beer?

If your feeling adventurous maybe a mint julep ale? If not, then an Irish red ale would probably be pretty nice seeing how the Irish influenced Kentucky and the derby so much...

    easy questions??

    1. the oxyclean bottles should be fine your just going to have to rinse them very thoroughly to get that white film off of them. Next time don't soak them as long...like only a day or so. 2. It's all up to you. Do you want your Saison to be very carbonated like champagne? If so, add more...

    Bottle Bomb/ Safety question

I doubt it will affect future batches if you do a halfway decent job at cleaning up. Never had a bottle bomb so I'm no help there. This is what I do: 1. don't reuse your bottles more than 3 or so times. 2. Soak bottles in oxy clean and water solution over night. Rinse very thoroughly...

    Favorite RIS

Flying Dog Gonzo is an excellent RIS and the price is right. I can buy it $8.99 a four pack. I like it a little bit more than Old Rasputin but it is a toss up. Dogfish Palo Santo to me is basically a RIS although a little un-orthodox. Thats probably one of the most interesting beers I've ever had.

Live in TN, IN, WI, or RI? Stock up on Dogfish...

Just a guess, but I think it is because they care so much about maintaining quality. Fast expansion could mean a drop in quality when dealing with larger batches and different equipment. Speaking as a business management major lol. :mug:
