    pH control on a sour

I have a dilemma that my current knowledge of water chemistry is not affording me an answer to. My wife was kind enough to surprise me with a Russian River Consecration clone kit for Christmas, and I have finally gotten around to being ready to brew it this weekend. I have gotten in the habit...

    DIY Tap Handle?

Cool handles. Did you burn the names in or is it pen? Can't really tell from the pic, but I like the look

    Wedding

Maybe unsolicited advice, but a suggestion if time (for brewing) is a factor - do a cider and a wine or two. Ciders tend to be extremely quick as far as brewing time invested (not to mention cheap), and people tend to like the variety. Wines are a little more expensive, but easy to make and...

    The $7 brew

I promised I would update, and I have the beer ready today, just in time for New Year's Eve! Actually, this turned into a pretty decent pale ale. Just the right amount of body, thanks to the crystal malt. Low on malt character as expected, but great hop character from the Belma hops. Best $5...

    The $7 brew

Actually, I was given a kit from Austin Homebrew. I have the recipe, but will respect the wishes of the owner not to publish it. I can say though, it is quite a good recipe, and very close to the original DGA. I highly recommend it. EDIT: And as far as the cider, it is not a commercial...

DIY Wood and Fiberglass Jockey Box

Nice job with the fiberglass, I've done a couple projects with it and it isn't easy to make it look that good!. What is the metal box all the lines are running into/out of? I assume it is a chiller/heat exchanger of some sort, but I haven't seen one that looks like that.

Finally beer on tap. Suck it bottles! My Red Bull Can Fridge Build - The Canorator

Love the tap/tower, great job! Did you build it or buy the setup like that? Is that a nitro faucet? I'd love to see where you got it or how you built it, either way.

Wine and Beer Bottle Hanging Tags.

Lol, thanks. That particular label took me about 30 seconds in MS Paint, but I thought it was fitting for a SMaSH beer!

Wine and Beer Bottle Hanging Tags.

I'm bumping an old thread here, but I have to give credit where due. Thanks for the template! Here are the labels I came up with for the 6-packs of bombers I am giving out this Christmas. Slightly amateurish, but I'm happy with them, especially with the crates I put together for them. :mug:

    Christmas Carols...with a twist

I like it, I usually just replace all the words with x-rated lyrics, which my wife doesn't like nearly as much. Cheers, and may all your krausens be high! ;)
