I don't THINK it would hurt I know gardeners use dish soap in their water cans to help soften the water ans make the plants absorb more water. There isn't anything Toxic in OC so Ithink it would be ok I have dumped it on the grass often and it didn't hurt it.

I think you could soak them in some alcohol like a rum or bourbon or even vodka that should kill most things I would think as well. I have seen people do that with wood chips on here

well if you fill the bottles from a keg you won't have the normal sediment from carbing the bottles. Then washing wouldn't be so bad.

Yes you can do this pretty easily. The easiest is to devote a keg/Tap to soda and fill the keg with what ever soda syrup you like. your LHBS should have a selection of them or buy your own online like soda stream or even the 1 gallon of syrup from sams/ food supply. you can also make your own...

I recommend you get some fridge/waterline it's 1/4 od and 1/8 ID and that helps with the foam a ton I use them in the keg-a-rator too so I don't need 20 feet of hose it fits nicely in the dip tube.
