Flat and Flavorless, can it be revived?

Yes the article said to take the bottles out of the refrigerator and let them sit at room temperature for another two weeks. I added the sugar when bottling and they sat for 2 weeks.

Flat and Flavorless, can it be revived?

Oh lol sorry I misread your message. Here's all the instructions which I believe I followed to the letter 1. Remove the yeast packet from under the lid of the can of Brewing Extract, then place the unopened can and BrewMax LME in hot tap water. 2. In your sanitized blender, purée the can of...

Flat and Flavorless, can it be revived?

Hello, This was the beer I attempted to make: https://www.mrbeer.com/rhapsody-on-blue-recipe When I tasted it, it was flat and flavorless. I read in an article somewhere that my most likely culprit was the fermentation wasn't completed and that if I take the bottles out and add some more yeast...

My beer gushes when I open it? Ruined or not?

Thanks a lot! Yeah I'll be a bit more careful with my sugars next time!

My beer gushes when I open it? Ruined or not?

Believe me, I put in huge letters in my notes 'NEVER DO THAT AGAIN.' afterwards!

My beer gushes when I open it? Ruined or not?

To those who were invested in this, I have come to the confirmed conclusion that what was causing the gushing was over-carbonation. I know this because in a few of my other bottles, I use only 1 tsp of cane sugar and not only was there no gushing but it actually tasted pretty good! A little more...

My beer gushes when I open it? Ruined or not?

Yeah I just wanted to test the effects different sugars had on the final product!

My beer gushes when I open it? Ruined or not?

I haven't tested them since that initial opening. However they were sitting in the fridge for quite a while before I opened them, I think 48 hours.

I don't believe so but not certain on that

My beer gushes when I open it? Ruined or not?

I was following a set of instructions that told me not to let it sit longer than the amount of time I gave it and just trusted it's word. But yeah hydrometer is next on my list of items to get.

My beer gushes when I open it? Ruined or not?

My fermentation process was I let the batch sit in the fermenter for a week, then added in pureed red tart cherries and lime zest (which I put too much in) into the fermenter, and then it sat for 2 more weeks. After this 2 weeks, I bottled 5 of the 12. I waited 4 more days and bottled the...
