Opened up one of my week old DIPA's just to see how it's coming along. I'm hoping it mellows out a bit but overall I think it should be a beauty.

My one week old Double-IPA...It's just a test bottle to see how things are going but I figured I would share.

Homemade Espresso Stout...With a little more time in the bottle these became quite excellent.

I do that with bottles here in MO but I completely bury them...I've never noticed any off-flavors.

I drink about 3-4 times a week and when I do it's usually about 2-3 a night. I never have more than one if we go out b/c I'm always the driver, so that sucks as far as trying beers at a place like Springfield Brew Co.

Just brewed this beer and bottled it...I'll let you know how it turned out in a 2-3 weeks.

Or they realize places like the beach/lakes/waterparks and other areas don't allow glass of any kind. When I go on a float-trip I love that I don't have to get cans of budweiser. I can actually bring a solid beer with me. Your rant is pure rage and no logic.

So what is everybody brewing for the Spring? I just bottles a DIPA and I'm looking for some ideas for the second half of Spring.

I didn't realize it generated heat. It completely makes sense now that I hear it but I will def. keep this in mind for my next brew.

I just need my bottle opener attached to a zip-line on my belt...That's right...ZIP-LINE, be jealous lol (I'm Batman!)

I like having all of my bottles the same size...plus I don't drink enough anymore to collect bottles...I needed an extra case last weekend so I could bottle and it was a pain in the tookus. I held out and didn't go buy an extra case but only b/c the LHBS is quite a drive lol.

I wouldn't know what beers are a twist-off...I never try and twist them off. I buy craft beer and just assume it's not so I use my bottle opener without even thinking about it.
