My initiall plan was just to utilize to and from the plate chiller, so 4 females and a male at the pot, I guess? I'm still doing extracts right now. Movin up later down the road;^)

I also say build it yourself. I did my own and am well pleased w/ the result. A friend gave me an older unused 18' fridge- although freezers are easily purchased on CL for <$75 The smaller fridge easily holds 3 cornies and the CO2 tank. For right at $350 I installed the 2 perlicks...

My girlfriend at the time while I was at JMU went to VT and I fell in love with Blacksburg. If both teams play their A game, VT wins. Anything less on our part and I think it's gonna be tough to overcome what that offense can do. Concerned w/ our LB situation flux and their running game right...

No matter what setting it's on, if it loses power, when it comes back on it is at the ready but not in whatever setting it was on when it lost power. It's a handy little heater, so I think I'll use it around the house and go with the ceramic reptile bulb method. I made a little fan box out of...

but the problem seems to be that when the unit reaches the target temp and power cuts off, it resets to off...so that when it gets power again it's at the 'ready' state but not actually on.

This high falutin' decade old Walgreen's heating pad has an auto off feature and keeps cutting off before bringing the filled carboy to it's target temp. I assume there are heating pads without an auto off I could buy, just was hoping to make this as scavenger/low cost as possible a project...
