Greatlakeshops: What varieties do you (personally) recommend for the PA area?

I had gotten a Chinook rhizome from Troegs and had cones on it first year. (Planted in April, harvested in August/September). Is that uncommon - did I just get lucky?

So is there any truly English/Europen/German/NZ ones worth trying in PA?

Has anyone ever tried growing English, German, or the New Zealand hops in America? Specifically PA (Central PA at that)?

Thanks for all the advice! I did contact Sunny Brae Hop Farm (the one in Carlisle) and they said their not ready to do rhizomes quite yet, but in the near future (2-3 years) they said they probably will be.

So which ones are proprietary and which ones are public? I like Mosaic, Nugget, Azacca, Simcoe, Comet, Galaxy, Galea, and Citra. So I take it from the above post, Citra is proprietary and therefore unavailable. What about the others?

Wow, and you gotta pay 15$ for a chart.... that'd be super small font. Yea.... no offense, but I think there's better options out there, and plenty more resources then a scatter'd looking chart with super tiny font for 15$

Whats the best site/place to buy rhizomes or plants? I saw great lakes sells full plants, is this the best route to go? What are some sites (or physical locations) that people recommend? Do you recommend going rhizomes or going full plant?

I'm definitely not doing BIAB, everything I've read, and the people I've talked to (on here, and Scotzin Bros) makes it sound like a nightmare/super huge headache to do BIAB.
