    Obnoxious Football Trash Talk Thread

I'm not complaining. But honestly, Mahomes is one of the last guys you'd expect to make a mistake when the cards are on the line; he's usually as cool as a cucumber, and he's got enough guys around him that make things happen. Like the quote from Burrows, "usually when you lose the flip to those...

    Obnoxious Football Trash Talk Thread

Multiple reports are saying that Tom Brady is retiring. Guy's got nothing left to prove to anyone. I'd rather see him go out like this, at relatively the top of his game, rather than stumble out in mediocrity, like some others I've seen.... (Ben, Mannings (certainly the other one, but Payton was...

How do you know "how much is left in the keg"?

WIth something like this, how does the system know how much there was to start with? Do you enter, say, "5 gallons" into the program and it counts how much is poured? Sensors in the taps or something? or is there a scale or something attached?

The Dysfunctional-Palooza Obnoxious Masshole BS Thread

So has the French Toast alert gone into effect? |I was at BJs this afternoon and there wasn't much in the bread area - though I don't know how much of that has to do with the weather versus regular supply run issues.

How do you know "how much is left in the keg"?

I just lift mine a couple inches. I have plenty of spares, so I know about how much an empty weighs, so I more or less ju\dge from there. I don't need to know EXACTLY how much is there, like I don't need to know there's exactly 2.5485370 gallons left, |I just there's "a bunch" still in there...

Going bulk grain - need some advice

I keep a sack of 2-row and one of |Pilsner on hand, plus smaller bags of Munich and Vienna, plus smaller still of specialty grains. |I actually should put in an order for some miscellaneous stuff, I've got a few batches I want to do... I keep the big ones in big bins made for pet food. They're...

    Letting Wort settle before Boiling

    |I've run across people who do run across timing issues and need to split mashing and boiling up. If you're careful, I suppose oxidtion could be minimized, though not eliminated. My big question, though, is there a difference between letting the stuff settle out pre-boil rather than adding...

How to use a refractometer for final gravity reading?

Personally, I trust my refrac. The first few brews I did, I backed the readings up with the hydrometer. After putting through the Brewers friend calculator, I'd read spot on, or close enough for government work. Since then, I don't bother with the hydrometer unless it;s reading funny. In most of...
