Name That Skyline - Picture Game

I haven't played in a while, or had any correct guesses so please don't get too mad at me. I thought I'd just put this one out there for fun.

My wife taught me this one a long time ago, it has it's place but not very often: dearth.

What did I cook this weekend.....

Sadly, sorry but no pics again but I made this for dinner on Saturday. It's really good if you like really hot/spicy food. The kind of hot/spicy food where the heat in your mouth gets hotter when you stop eating. You'll definitely want plain white sticky rice on the side...

Gardening: My Tomatoe and Pepper Progress

For those of you who are having issues with critters intruding on your garden veggies, You might want to look at the link below. I bought a couple VersaNet's and a Patriot P5 energizer kit a few years ago to keep the raccoons from eating my tomatoes. We haven't lost a single one since I...

    Fughin' hiccups, wtf?!

Fool proof mid-evil easy cure for hiccups. Get a glass of cold water, cover the glass of water with a new paper towel, drink the water through the paper towel very slowly. It feels a little weird but I guarantee you that it works. Never fails.

    Making Beer

I'm just wondering what the goggles are for, there a hidden treasure map on the inside or what? Might need a bowl full of lemons and a hair drier to find out.

What did I cook this weekend.....

I don't know who I feel worse for, you in California, or me outside Detroit... One of the local grocery stores here calls them black and white cookies. Yeah, no. Every time I go in there, I tell them, you have the wrong name for those cookies, they're half-moon cookies, not black and white...

What did I cook this weekend.....

@TwistedGray Dude! Wegmans and salt potatoes in one post! I grew up in Syracuse and we used to eat salt potatoes all the time in the summer w/ corn on the cob and stuff, great excuse for lots of butter. I still miss Wegmans, and the local sweet corn, can't find it as good anywhere I've lived.

What did I cook this weekend.....

Well the wife and I decided to splurge with some of our recently acquired stim-u-bucks. We both figure that both the price of beef is going to go up because inflation IS a real thing, and availability might go way down in the future. So I ordered one of these for this years Christmas dinner...

What did I cook this weekend.....

Tell me about it. I have 9 foot ceilings on the first floor and you should see the oil stain on my ceiling above the stove. We want to move and I need about 3-4 coats of Kilz and then paint the whole ceiling to make it look good. That's the same reason why we fry fish and chicken outside...

What did I cook this weekend.....

Would that be the 168 Asian Mart at 14 Mile and John R? We go there from time to time to stock up on ingredients. I't a bit of a hike from our house but it's worth the trip. Stir fry recipes are really, really good with the right ingredients. The shaoxing wine is hard to find in other stores...

How to buy homebrew gear and stay married 🤣

Man, it sounds like I got pretty lucky. My wife was the one who told me I needed to get into home brewing. She helped me pick out all the equipment to buy: kettles, burners, the whole shooting match to even include a SSbrewtech 7 gal. chronical fermenter (which is gorgeous by the way). I...
