    Absolutely. 2 hole rubber stopper. may have to drill your own second hole. I push from glass jugs too. Just let the bung pop off if the pressure gets too great.

    They'll take the pressure but on the thinner ones the bottom poofs out and then they tip over!

    Ethyl acetate is not going to diminish as it is pretty much a metabolic dead end. If it's not too bad and the style is suitable try adding some cherries to it as ethyl acetate will enhance the cherry flavor.

    Never a taking readings , been homebrewing since'95-96

    I've always measured OG an FG but the only thing I've done with them is record it and calculate the ABV. I ferment in carboys and don't package until I see the yeast flocculate. I get and support what 4of7 is saying but it does seem a little arrogant to post a thread.

    Kegging at half the capacity

    Yes. Mini lager. I usually try to make it similar to what I'm pitching the yeast in to to kind of give me a preview of the bigger lager. I still use the stir plate on ales.
