    So who's brewing this weekend?

    220 litres of Apple Juice and Honey Wash for an Apple Jack. Will press another 200 litres of apple juice for 3 meads (Cysers) this week .... forgot the Rakija from the apple skins and sugar, lets see how it goes.

    Glycerine in airlock

    I've had black mould grow in my glycerine/water mix in one of my home made glycol chillers (chest freezer etc). I'd stick to stallersan. I have a few plastic fermenters who's airlocks don't bubble, the seal on the lids aren't the best and slowly leak. They are closed enough not to cause issues...

    What are you drinking now?

    From left to right: Dry Cyser (12%) Ginger Cyser(13%), Apple Pie (15% - Apple Juice, Orange Blossom Honey, Cloves, Cinnamon, All Spice, Dates). All a year old from highway picked apples.

    EJWOX hydropress?

    After many emails to EJWOX they just won't post the bags, won't even entertain the idea of allowing me to pay for postage. Its a real shame as the press works well, if you live in the US or Canada I'd have no issue recommending this to a homebrewer.

    Additional information: If you live in Australia, EJWOX doesn't ship or have official suppliers here, I'll need to find a filter bag that fits which is a shame. It looks like my upgrade will be Speidel after all.
