    DIY brew closet/kegerator build

Yea I understand. I won't ever use the bucket to ferment anything because of the smell. But I will definitely use it to sanitize or hold dry goods.

Removing the door panel. I need to cut the trim off and re-attach the "frame"so the gasket can fit and seal the kegerator.

So by complete surprise, both kegs fit without having to remove any more of the side wall. I've seen a few videos of people doing the same thing and they have to cut out a half circle from the bottom ledge before their kegs will fit. Next I have to take the door panel Off so it can close. The NB kit comes with dry grapefruit peel, it was suggested to me to replace this with fresh grapefruit zest and soak in vodka, by my LHBS

    Northern Brewer Grapefruit Sculpin clone

New to kegs, Filter before Kegging? Any other tips?

I have managed to put no money into my entire leg setup so far. I got 2 kegs on a trade for some stuff I got for free, the "kegerator conversion kit" was a Christmas gift, the fridge I'm gonna convert was free, so in hardly any money into this setup. I was given a co2 tank but it's in bad shape...
