    CFC problems

see i think my home made hop stopper might have been the problem. it seemed like the hops sank to the bottom of the keggle and the dip tube had to pass the wort thru all those hops just to get into the CFC. what kind of a pump do i want? how do those work?

    CFC problems

so i recently got a CFC. i am using with a converted keg with a 1/2" ball valve. the keg has a home made hop stopper in it. i used whole hops last night and i was barely getting any flow out of the CFC into the primary. is this from the hops that were piled up in the bottom ofthe keg? or...

i did add the orange peel and hops in the last ten. i enjoy late additions...i added very little orange peel as all i had around was 'bitter' orange peel. this beer is menat to be as low IBU's as possible. i really wanted to keep it less bitter than my usual beers. SWMBO usually likes the...

Getting a valve put on my kettle

i used mine for the first time last night. i have the same weldless fittings. it leaked about 1 cup/30 mins. when i took it apart the oring inside the keggle was sliced from the hole. what does this mean? was it tightened too tight on a burr or something? this thread is awesome! :mug:
