    I love homebrewmart. They have excellent quality on all grain, yeast, and hops. The workers may be a little arrogant but will answer any question you have and will help you build a recipe. I just wish they were closer to me. I live in North County SD so they are too far....

    I would leave it in primary for the full 30 days. The yeast could be cleaning up still.

    Here are a couple pictures from my gravity sample. It started at 1.071 and is now at 1.014. It tastes DELICIOUS! If the gravity is the same tomorrow Im going to transfer to secondary and dry hop. Hopefully bottle on Thursday

    Sounds good. I have two chickens and a good compost going. The compost is mostly grass, chicken manure, leaves and spent brewing products. So do you recommend putting a small layer of compose over the ground or making a compost tea? I have also heard diluting urine at about 10 parts water...

    I brewed today. With a few last minute changes that I bolded. My homebrew shop doesn't carry melanodin malt so he said Munich is a decent replacement. I also added 1/2 oz of cascade at both 5 minutes and flame out. I forgot to take a picture but it came out a bright red.
