    5 gallon bucket

    Actual Champagne of Beers?

From what I found this is nothing like a wine, rather a highly carbonated and complex beer in a corked bottle. It's not a BJCP style unless you count "Specialty Belgian Ale". Maybe I'll be the guy to post the first recipe? Who knows. It's something to try anyway. Clone one of these and win...

    Actual Champagne of Beers?

Has anyone seen a recipe or process for making a Biere Des Bruts or Champagne beer? Something like DEUS from Bosteels? I expect it's an advanced item and not one to tackle lightly. That said, I do enjoy a challenge. :rockin:

+1. I have Mephisto's Unholy Covenant in the planning stages now. It shall be pitched on the WLP570 cake from Mephisto's Fructification (a Belgian pale ale).

Check out Red's Ale House. http://redsalehousenl.com/ No crap on tap! They are doing very well with no BMC on tap. Maybe they have it in the bottle? Edit: no crap in the bottle either.

    Who's smoking meat this weekend?

I would think skunk would almost smoke itself. Perhaps with a nice rauchbier on the side.

Totally the same. This 2011 is the first dove season in Iowa in like 100 years. They sound delicious.
