    Ok... We did the Teflon tape, which helped a bit but didn't totally seal it. I guess we were screwing up by putting a gasket on both sides of the cooler wall. I'll try it with the one in the inside. Thanks!

    Thanks guys! I know we should get two tuns for different batch/grain bill sizes. Just trying to maximize the bang for the buck. I doubt we'll go much higher than 1.100.     I've been looking at the forum here for a long while and gleaning the vast amount of information it contains to help in brewing my first batch with some friends. I'm now officially hooked on home brewing, and am looking forward to conversations and discussions with folks on here!
