My apfelwein has been known to cause hangovers .. that stuff sneaks up on people who drink too much and wonder why everything is spinning...

Need recommendations on tri clover sources

Brewershardware.com is another option... You don't need to stick with 3/4 for the ball valve unless you really want to... 1/2 is cheaper and way easier to find... I would use a 3/4 tri clamp to 1/2 or 3/4 npt adapter and get a two piece or three piece ball valve and the appropriate nipple or...

Which comes first - the contactor or the bus bar?

This is what I am doing, but I am running a separate 120v 20 AMP line in for the pumps like what you want to do... I'll still have the extra connectors for 120 coming from the 240 like in the drawing, in case I need them for some reason or another.

Drain pipe mod for Mash and Boil unit.

make sure to use a titanium coated bit and lots of cutting fluid.. if you use a regular non coated drill bit or step bit you will embedd steel / iron into the stainless and it will rust ... (same as drilling on any other stainless )

Drain pipe mod for Mash and Boil unit.

or just drill out the bottom of the mash tube like i mentioned above and also use the bulkhead adapter that the guy in the video used.. and you can measure to use the appropriate stainless pipe from here (i would suggest getting a couple different lengths)...
