    My Homebrewpub (WIP)

ohiobrewtus, that's one awesome pub/basement. Hands down one of the best I've seen. And as said, that entrance is very nice. That stone really completes it. Makes me really wish I had a basement.

first all grain.... a 20gal Heather Ale

Yeah, as wilserbrewer said. That's an impressive feat for your first all grain. I've been brewing all grain for about 4 years and the largest I've ever made was a 10 gallon, but that's also due to my equipment.

    I brewed 7 bbls yesterday.

Wow olllllo, that is very cool. Congratulations. I'd be smiling the whole time too if I had a chance to brew 7bbl. I thought the possibility of brewing 1 bbl would be quite an adventure, especially using non-commercial equipment.

Alternative Grain Beer Light Rye Ale

MikeFlynn74, after reading your recipe I decided to finally make a rye beer myself. Especially after how good you said yours turned out. Split a crown today and took pics

WM, I used this method to propagate one bine last fall right after I harvested. There's a small bine that's growing a few inches. I had left about 1-2 ft of the bine exposed from the crown and buried a length of about a foot underground, and cut off the remaining part of the bine.

    MN hops are up

I like your method of measuring the hops, Seabee. And a little bit of encouragement for the hops too, eh? Showing them where they will be lucky enough to end up in once they're big and strong enough and bearing cones?

    Hops are up in Michigan!

I still can't do anything with the hops I'm growing. I'm growing them on some land 2 hours north of where I am, and there's still snow up there, (got to love Lake Superior). Once gone (in hopefully a week), I plan to take the hop bines I put underground last fall and create a few extra...

    Hey from Michigan!

Greetings from the UP. I just joined yesterday, but have been reading the forums off and on since August. Been brewing all grain for years and ventured into hop growing and the forums have a wealth of information that was very useful. Had to finally get on board.
