Milwaukee group buy, need help with How To

I'm investigating organizing a group buy in Milwaukee but have no experience in this matter. If anyone is willing/able to point me to viable sources I will engage with them to see what we need to do to proceed. Regards, Brobeman

3 FLoyds Zombie Dust attempt. Help/info requested

I brewed 5 gallons of all grain 3 weeks ago today. just took my first gravity and it's sitting at 1.017. Anyone got input on where theirs finished? I hit all my temps and fermented at 68F. The beer is extremely clear and smells great, perhaps a little sweet though. Regards, Brobe

Whirlpooling when using a plate chiller

'm pretty new to brewing and until now have been using a standard immersion chiller. I only recently began Whirlpooling during chilling which is kind of a PITA with the chiller in the BK because of having to lift the spoon on each cycle to get over the chiller hoses. To simplify my process I...

Liquid Post does not fit on Keg

I recently had a similar problem. Check out Cornelius Kegs on Wikipedia. There's a great description there of the different keg types and their associated input and output threads.. Brobeman

How many Bottles do you have?

Of beer, maybe 60 bottles of commercial stuff I like + 5 Corny's of stuff on tap or up next, plus 10 gals in primary and 5 more on deck for Saturday. Plus 800 bottles (give or take) of wine and 10 or 12 bottles of Bourbon in various stages of depletion. Seems all my hobbies are the result of...

    I got a job!

I personally find jobs overrated. It will however supplement the Brewhouse supply, and buy food.

    Milwaukee Y not?

I'd have some ability to deliver to the Fox.Valley, up the lakeshore and to J'Ville/Beloit. Hopefully we'll get some interest, I know there's a lot of homebrewers in the area.

3 FLoyds Zombie Dust attempt. Help/info requested

On the hop schedule, what is the first addition for 15 minutes? Does this go in before reaching a boil? Brewing an all grain batch this weekend, if I can get Citra from Northern Brewer this week. Thanks. Brobe

    Great summer bear ideas?

Glad to hear that. Doing a 5 gal AG batch tomorrow. Just moved a Kolsch into a corny for lagering and it smells fantastic. Fermented it at 57F and the aroma is extremely fresh. Can't wait for warmer weather. Brobeman

    Lagunitas Sucks clone?

I'd be very interested as well. This is easily a top 5 beer of all time for me. For what it's worth, I contacted the brewery and they have assured me that when the new brew house ramps up we will see this beer again. Not sure if you saw it or not, but they also just announced they will be...

Citra Saturdays at Nikobrew (Amarillo too!)- Full pounds for 24 hours begins 3/17

Any other Wisconsin homebrewer want to split a pound of each with me? A full pound of each would take me way too long to get through, but these prices are solid. Brobeman
