    keg kettle

Take a look at bargainfittings.com. That where I get all the fittings and I had no idea what I was doing to start off- there are lots of enlightening pics and diagrams and whatnot on their site. They're nice folks and are also supporters of HBT...and their prices are the best, as well.

    3 Shiney Keggles

You can have the valve if you think you'll use it- but honestly, with the aesthetic of the keggle, you'll wanna go with stainless. I am reading 'Dethroning the King' right now- it's a pretty entertaining read and oddly enough, only solidifies my prior opinion of AB. Arrogance before the...

    3 Shiney Keggles

I won't be able to get another hole in it before Saturday early when I drive up, unfortunately. I'll knock the price down to $135 so you can buy a step bit and modify away, if that's satisfactory. Just out of curiosity, why did you choose the Miller of the 3? Go Hokies

    Buying a Brewery vs. Building

No false bottoms yet, but it would be a $15 Harbor Freight step bit cost to be able to drill any types of holes you needed. I believe most attachments utilize 7/8" holes- I know that these are 7/8". I got the directions for polishing kegs from BobbyM here and I believe he's a good resource for...

    3 Shiney Keggles

I have finished polishing 3 more bling bling keggles that are for sale. There is one AB, one Miller, and one Coors. All are 15.5 gallons, have the inner top removed and smoothed to allow for brewing , and the AB and Miller are fitted with 1/2” weldless brass ball valves. The Coors is not...

    Shiny Keggles

As I mentioned earlier- these 2 were sold a week ago. I'm working on 4 more-1 for me 3 to sell. This isn't really a regular job or anything so I have no earthly idea how much shipping would be.

    Shiny Keggles

I have 4 remaining-1 yuengling that I'm gonna keep, 1 AB, 1 Miller, and a Coors which is the kinda bulbous type. I got all mine thru CL except for 1. I am going to start work on another set this weekend- the AB/Miller pair to sell.

    Shiny Keggles

I followed the directions on this site...search 'polishing your keggle'... Basically Gatorgrit 4.5" pads on an angle grinder-medium,fine, then polishing with 2 types of polishing stick. And they are sold as of 10 minutes ago. Thanks all.

    Shiny Keggles

Old Townie- I have already removed the tops of the ones I have on hand right now and they're in various stages of polishing, etc., but I may be getting another one or two intact next week-not sure if the contact will come thru or not.

    Shiny Keggles

2 very shiney Stainless Steel kegs that I have converted into Keggles. They are currently fitted with ½” brass ball valves. Several hours of polishing went into each.:mug: As I have not finalized my own brewing setup and have some extra parts, and have several more kegs to convert, I am...

Any good use for a 7.75gal pony keg?

Thanks all. I'll probably go ahead and pick it up and ponder it later. I have several full 1/2 kegs to keggle-ize, so this one would probably be a fermenter if I keep it after it's all shiny.
