    Thanks for the quick reply. I guess I'll just leave the paint on there. Revvy, as an aside- I find your information very helpful. I just bottled a gallon of cherry cider for my wife and used your tip on attaching the bottling wand to the spigot. Very easy.

    I have searched for this and didn't find anything (maybe searched with the wrong terms), but does anyone have a good method on removing the markings on a Rogue bottle? They don't use traditional labels, as you more than likely know.

    carbs and calories.......

    It's not just carbs in beer that can make you fat. Alcohol has 7 calories per gram. For reference, carbs and protein have 4 cal/gram each and fat has 9 cal/gram.
