    What in God's name are feet on a lid ??? I have 2 carbonation lids , and also ,the more expensive one never seals on any keg so I just quit trying to use it after several new seals and also a ton of keg lube didn't help. It too was from Ama Almighty Zon. My el cheapo I bought years ago online...

    Nothing yet for beer today but will after my assigned chores by the Commanding General wife I will. Just wanted to say Happy Veterans day to all of us who put the uniform on whatever branch. And to our families and friends who supported us. God Bless us and save us. All of us. HooRah !!

    It was such a horrible concoction I made with the Lyle's and Treacle I was emotionally damaged to ever have the courage to try it again 😂. It's been quite awhile so I may have a go at it again ..some day...or year

    Both could be for beer. I remember back in the early 2000s I searched high and low for Lyle's Golden and Treacle and couldn't find it anywhere so had to order it from England. Was trying my hand at a true English style Old Ale , Old Theakston. Crashed and burned. As I recall tasted something...

    Checked on the progress of the Honey Brown carbonation. She's ready ! I will keg the other 3 gallons this week and let it cold condition in the kegerator till Thanksgiving. Taste good.

    Can be saved if you have a co2 tank and a carbonation cap. Though I don't bottle as much as I used too, still comes in handy. I even recarb some 2L sodas that go flat. I've saved a bottled beer or 2 that way.

    Transferred 3 gallons of honey Brown ale off the yeast to secondary so I can cold crash for 2 or 3 days, bottled 2 gallons. Looks and taste, smells great ! Thanksgiving football is gonna be good ! I can still smell the sweet malt in the air !

    Sanitized the 3 gal Anvil fermenter to transfer 3 gal of the 5 gal batch so I can cold crash a few days before kegging, sanitized 14 bottles for the other 2 gal. Will have some British Honey Brown on hand for Thanksgiving. Time to get cracking on a Xmas ale. Every year it's Xmas stout or porter...

    Cleaning out the kegerator ( sanitize ) and cleaning and sanitizing the beer lines in prep for kegging Sat or Sun...oh what joy ! Tonight it's bottle sanitizing 😵‍💫

    Wow ! Put the honey in the fermenter after 17 days, no activity for last 6 days, and just a few hours later bubbling away again with the blowoff tube. Good ol Nottingham

    Checked on the British Honey Brown ale after 17 days primary, down to 1.006 from 1.050 , taste awesome ! Now gonna add 1 pound orange blossom honey straight to the fermenter, give it a slight stir and let her sit another 7 days before kegging 3 gallons and bottling 2.

    Yes small world. We were both nurses in the army then he switched careers. Before he became a cop , he was a federal guard at SEATAC. Tried to get me to follow him there but wasn't interested in changing careers.
