    Going to the beach

I use the Carbonator and a 2 liter bottle all the time. I much prefer it to lugging glass around, be it in bottles or growler. I don't use a beer gun, either. I disconnect the c02 from the keg, bleed a bit off thru the release valve, then just fill from the tap.

    Your tap handles are great!

Looking to make kegerator from mini refrigerator

What model of wine cooler did you get? I see them from time to time, and they seem to be a cool option for conversion.

    Ewave Chest Freezer questions

I like that idea. Are you going to do a tower, or go through the front?

    Real basic labels

Really nicely done! Love the minimal look. Great font, too!

    Ewave Chest Freezer questions

I almost bought another at Menard's on my lunchbreak today! I think I'll wait til they go on sale, though. I am thinking of maybe putting a wood top and facade on it and running a tower. Who knows. The wallet and wife dictate what I can and cannot do. :D

    Ewave Chest Freezer questions

I have a smaller ewave at home that I *gasp* actually use as a freezer. We bought it two years ago, and I've had no problems with it, and am thinking about getting a bigger one and stealing that one for a keezer. The one I have looks like it will fit 4 cornies without a collar, as reported...

    My first label

She lives in Palmyra, Moms lives in Maple Shade. We're all from North Jersey originally. Should be a nice visit. I snagged a couple of UPS-approved 12 pack mailers from a buddy and I'll be sending out 12 of those and 12 of Beirmuncher's Centennial Blonde. Of course we'll be heading over to...

    My first label

I played with it a bit, and I printed that one above out and slapped it on a bottle...I decided that it was the one. I like the idea of playing with type filters, though. Maybe for my next bottling attempt I'll drag out the photoshop. :D

    My first label

I brewed a big ol' IPA for my sister in NJ, who I'm visiting next month. I thought it'd use a label...so I threw one together in paint.net and printed them out via MS Publisher. I think it turned out nice. What do you think? :mug:

    My Kegerator is dying...please help!

Thanks! Since then, it's been pretty much doing what I need it to do. Of course, thinking that the thing was dying, I went out and started looking at new ones....and I'd be lying if I said I wasn't still lackadaisically looking for something newer, and bigger. I can only fit one keg in it, and I...

Blonde Ale Centennial Blonde (Simple 4% All Grain, 5 & 10 Gall)

I brewed another 5 gallons of this yesterday while the first batch was still in primary....I just know this stuff won't last long. My first batch was racked to secondary with dry hops....the taste was great, other than some possible diacetyl, which will hopefully clear itself up.

Blonde Ale Centennial Blonde (Simple 4% All Grain, 5 & 10 Gall)

This recipe really got me excited. I brewed it last weekend, breaking in my new barley crusher. My effeciency jumped to around 85%, so the OG came out a little higher. I did top it off with some water to keep it in check. The first 48 hours was a really rigorous fermentation, with constant...

    My Kegerator is dying...please help!

The problem seems to have resolved itself by simply moving the fridge away from the wall about 6 inches. Who knew?

    My Kegerator is dying...please help!

Well that's the thing! I can get a new freezer, albeit a small half size one...for under $150. Or, there are plenty of used ones to be found. I've seen your keezer, and it's really nice. I think if all else fails, I may look into one of those. OR, buy a full size freezer for food storage (we're...

    My Kegerator is dying...please help!

No, it's running as normal. It just seems to be stuck at this certain temperature. It's been that way for 4 days. At first I thought maybe the coolant was shot, but it seems to be holding that temp. Weird. I looked into that Danby. That would work.

    My Kegerator is dying...please help!

A couple of months ago I bought a used Kenmore 4.6cft mini fridge. I was able to move the freezer shelf/cooling line, popped a faucet on the front, and was using it as a single keg kegerator since with no problems. The other day, I notice it's a bit warmer. I put a thermometer in there, and it...

    Homebrewing Music

Since I usually brew in the morning, I start out with some live Wilco or My Morning Jacket, move on to some Pearl Jam, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Gomez or Bob Dylan, finish up with some Black Angels or Ween, then sit down with a celebratory homebrew with anything I feel like listening to. :D

Free Brewmasters Tasting Kit - Killian's Red

Got mine a couple weeks ago. My 16-month old daughter LOVES the cups, and they're perfect size for her. I basically did it for that and another bottle opener. Why not?
